That is seriously old school! I've seen lots of bike license plates for sale, but never one for the actual city I happened to be in. I'm impressed! (the bike was beautiful too, as was the black one parked with it)

Rainy days are better together

Don't you just love this blue Schwinn tandem? Spotted in East Cambridge, I was delighted on a rainy day to discover they'd decorated the bike with blue and pink butterflies.

I've amused myself on my commutes since, trying to work out who might own a bike like this. It's just too darling!

Emma watson talks about Helena Bonham Carter, the Kiss

The times has a really great interview with Emma called, "The siren call of Emma Watson." The three year mention makes me lean toward a Cambridge guess but technically Emma didn't say three year or that she wasn't doing any movies while in college. The interviewer said it not Emma. But Emma did say she was a English lit. student. And it's always nice to know she is getting offers just not the right ones. All in due time though ;)

Emma Watson - Columbia University report wrong

Just Jared reported that Emma was going to go to Columbia University yesterday. They based it on the fact there was a Charlotte E. Watson enrolled. Some detective work huh? Well it looks like there is a Charlotte enrolled that's not Emma. Shocking. Feel free to leave comments at their site if you wish.

As to where Emma is going to college, my GUESS is Brown. Why you may ask? Well, here some info. How reliable - dunno. I just putting my two cents in: (info found at college confidential)

Here's to clearing up any more confusion...Emma Watson is coming to Brown! Please, no more comments on "how is it remotely possible she would choose Brown over Yale"--just personal preference I suppose. Anyhow, her name is finally in the Brown directory! If you don't believe me, google "brown directory", click on the first link and then type her name in the search button. It'll come up--it wasn't there a few days ago so she'll probably make it public soon. (I really hope to see her around campus next year!)

When I checked the directory on Saturday (someone from the Brown Facebook group pointed this out and I saw it as well), her name was there as plain as day. Only her name and "Undergraduate Student" was listed; most students have their name, type of student, and e-mail address listed. My guess is that they took it down either because she hasn't made any official statements yet or she just doesn't want to be listed in the directory. I'm really not sure, but her name was there! (And previous posters apparently saw it as well!) It's understandable why her name would be taken off though.Also-- For some reason the thread started in the Brown forum about her was taken down the same day people started seeing her name listed in the directory. I'm not sure what that was about though.

I just learned that she was taken off the directory (the EXACT same day someone reported finding her) because of Facebook. Admission officers apparently monitor the Facebook group and so when everyone got excited and started searching for her, they took her down. That also explains why the thread in the Brown forum was removed.

"Emma Charlotte Watson" showed up in the Brown directory, then disappeared. It makes me think she's going there; why would they remove the name if it wasn't her?

Add a scarf

This lady knows - take a simple classic bike, add a simple classic outfit (LOVE those ballerina flats!) and then add a scarf. That's what I noticed first.

She's turned her head to say something to the cabbie, it seemed like a friendly chat.

Sneak Peak: Alice in Wonderland...

The first pictures from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland remake have been released...and as expected they're as weirdly wonderful as other Burton films!


Johnny Depp looks creepy and colourful with flame red hair as the 'Mad Hatter'.


Helena Boham Carter plays the role of the 'Red Queen' and Anne Hathaway takes on the role of 'White Queen'.


Little Britain Comedian Matt Lucas has been casted as 'Tweedledum' and 'Tweedledee' of which is a disguise not too contrasting to his regular appearance!




And as for the role of Alice...the part is being played by Australian actress Mia Wasikowska.

The animation is set for release spring 2010.

OK, the weather is still just awful. Let's go shopping, shall we? I recently walked past M. Flynn Accessories and was impressed by the jewelry, but I was even more excited to see their wallpaper. How cute is that? She said it was shockingly expensive, and I believe her!

After his successful Fall 2009 collection Nicoll is said to have taken inspiration from Tahitan women and the spanish royal family! Not straying too far from tailoring this new season see's plenty of bright oranges, dusty pinks and petrol colours in jumpsuits, oversized t-shirts and tailoring. Emma Watson becoming a designer?

IMDB is reporting that Emma is going to start her own clothing line and she's generously donating her proceeds to the children's charity Unicef. This story will be considered a rumor until confirmed by Emma which could happen from her official website or when she does Harry Potter promotions.

Speaking of harry Potter, Emma is scheduled to be on the Friday Night with Jonathon Ross, Friday July 3rd at 10:35 pm. The program airs on BBC.

She also is going to be on Rove Daily (Australia) on July 5th. It's not know if she'll be in Australia, if the show is tapped, or if the show will be done via satellite.
