One of Denmark's biggest talents, Mr Peter Jensen, recently showed at Copenhagen Fashion Week with a stand out collection with the ultimate level of quirkiness!
Peter Jensen is one of my favourites. Always so original, humorous and delightfully naive. For Spring/Summer 2011 (which will also be shown at New York Fashion Week) the main source of inspiration seems to be Christmas decorations...Paper Chains, ribbons and those rosette things which I can't remember the name of right now!
Socks and Sandals, still doing it for 2011. Tapping into american sportswear with a bit of tube sock action and super short lengths. A line silhouettes and cinched in at the waist adding a feminine element to his usual loose shapes.
Camel. Camel and Yellow. Camel and Red. Camel is big for winter, but is it carrying through to next season? Short Shorts for men, and are those clogs i spy?
Colour blocking in brights. Rainbow Stripes and mixing green and blue. The obvious masculine colours! Shirts tucked into shorts
I love a bow. Especially Peter Jensen's. They're only little but I'm glad it made it in! Also A-line trousers or extended coulottes...The new trouser shape on trend. Reds, Black and Gold - the christmas colour. With hint of argyle and gingham prints.
There's that stripe again... More true gent jacket and trouser combo with the shirt tucked in! Moss Green, Tomato Reds, Cream and Salmon Pink. Don't forget to accessorise with the double satchel boys!?
